RadVault, of Hayward, California, eliminates the need for 80-year old film technology by taking images (MRIs, mammograms, CT scans, etc) directly from the imaging machine and pushing them electronically via the Internet to any computer running the free RadVault Viewer software. Doctors and other medical professionals, regardless of their locations, have immediate delivery and access to these patients' images. The images are also sent to RadVault's lifetime storage centers as well as saved on CD-ROMs and USB-port key chains and given to the patient.

When RadVault approached Sierra Communications, it had received little media attention and was primarily interested in television coverage. Sierra Communications has secured the following broadcast coverage:

As a result of the Tech Now! television coverage, Cisco CEO John Chambers has taken a personal interest in RadVault. RadVault has been showcased at Cisco's CIO Summit as well as at four of Cisco's international sales force meetings. Sierra Communications also introduced and facilitated a relationship between RadVault and Sony Electronics.
